SSC’s success comes from matching each team member to the right project, bearing in mind particulars of experience and expertise. And although each member typically focuses on one project at a time, we are adept at supporting one another and multiple projects as needed in order to provide the best attention to detail and service.
All of our Superintendents have earned BEST Card Certification and carry an OSHA 10 Card to ensure job site safety best practices.
Owner & President
An Aspen resident since 1967, Marty began his building career nearly 50 years ago. In 1974, he founded Schlumberger Construction Company, focusing on custom home construction and renovation. His lifelong philosophy is to obtain the best product for the best price, without compromising quality. Marty’s guiding principles are ever present and serve as the cornerstone of SSC’s mission and culture.
Owner & Co-President
Scott began employment with SSC in 2002 and assumed the role of Co-President in early 2018. He holds an Engineering degree from Vanderbilt University and a Master’s in Construction Management from the University of Colorado. An experienced project manager with an eye for detail, Scott is responsible for all daily operations. Sharing Marty’s philosophy on business, Scott has been instrumental in helping build SSC into the company it is today.
